New paths, new opportunities
Issue #40
Editorial
I recently attended WEC Australia’s annual Mobilisation Conference in Sydney with about 20 others. Our International Mobilisation Consultant shared some of the developments in mission that are taking place in the world and in WEC. I was excited to hear of the new paths WEC is taking to adapt to and take advantage of these developments. There is still the need for cross-cultural workers from Western countries, but many hitherto missionary-receiving countries now want to send their own workers. This brings us many new opportunities to help train and send them. Migrants are also coming to faith, thereby facilitating opportunities to reach post-Christian countries. Mobile phone technology has opened many doors for people to be discipled. You can explore all these topics in this issue.
